I had a second interview with a great company I'd love to work for last week... I think it went well as they asked me to let them know if any other companies made me a job offer in the meantime as they don't want to lose me. However, they're still determining exactly what they need in the roles they're hiring for, so it's far from a certain thing - I'm continuing my job search, but it's hard to even get a foot in the door anywhere with this type of visa. If I didn't have a friend working at this lovely place, I probably wouldn't have even gotten to come in and talk to them.

Good luck. It's a hard time but in the end it's worth it all. I'm on a student visa and see jobs all the time that I want to apply for. Stay strong and I'm sure many opportunities will come your way.
