incredibly nervous for the 2nd time...

hi..I have lodged applications for subclass 309 five months ago.I wonder if anyone has been interviewed personally twice.I am scheduled to be interviewed again after they have verified my 1st interview and a visit to my ex-husband and children's house..I could just imagine my spouse discrediting me since the parting ways is bitter.Immigration personnel interviewed him without my knowledge. Is that normal?Or part of the routine check.

Does this mean they have doubts? Are my chances nil for a spouse visa? Thanks for any help extended...

Your spouse discrediting you should not really have an impact but if there are children and some things stated that do not totally match with what is in your application, they do need to be satisfied that all is as it claimed in your application.
Immi seeing third parties is not unusual.

Thanks Wanderer...
I am just looking forward to a positive conclusion to our applications and i felt bad that I have to be called in for the 2nd time and was thinking maybe it has something to do with ex's declarations to the Immi when they visited.

I spoke the truth so I don't have anything to fear...just nervous that I have to go thru the nerve-wrecking exercise again. But I know there are just doing their jobs. They don't want any fraud in their midst.

Cheers! You have been most helpful.God bless!

It is understandable that someone can be nervous in your situation Weng but if you application is factual, complete and accurate, you meeting eligibility requirements then you should not have a problem.
If questions are raised about what your husband has told the Immi people and there is mistruth in that, just reaffirm what is in your application and confirm that your parting has not been on good terms.
If you have any friends/family that have knowledge of your relationship with your ex and the parting and are prepared to give statements about it, you could tell Immi that you could supply some and had not included those in your application because you did not feel that was relevant.

Wanderer,
Thanks for the suggestions.I haven't thought of that because like what you said it was immaterial to the applications but if it comes up, I could always offer some more stat decs.I think they were trying to establish whether or not we are still in relationship because I have mentioned in my interview that I go to the ex's house where my children lives.I bought the house but it has become a conjugal property and that hasn't been resolved yet.

For the duration of my visit to the kids and when I need to secure documents in connection with the applications, I stay with them and like what I said, ex is bitter so his interview might have been a way to get even.

Could i introduce text messages of the ex just to portray his personality and to show that he has been lying?I was thinking of bringing the mobile to the interview since he threatened me too and I forwarded it to my family in the event that something happens to me.

Thank you once again..You are an angel sent from above for people like me who are in the dark...God bless!
