De Facto: South African Police Check

I donít know if anyone will be able to help me with this, but I thought I would give it a shot anyway. We are in the process of getting together all of our documents for the de facto visa (applying from the UK).

My boyfriend needs to apply for his South African police check. I have been doing some research and found a website where you can apply directly with RSA.

Application for Police Clearance Certificate

However, more recently I found the below link:

Police Certificates

Has anyone had experience applying for a South African police check? Which is the best way to go about it?

The Immi site outlines what is expected and the contact means for differnt countries so I'd just stick with that to minimise chances for an application to become derailed.
