Written Permission to Work

Hi everyone,

I'm currently filling out the application form for a PMV.

Question 83 "Have you ever been given written permission by the department to work in Australia?"

10 -11 years I had the Working Holiday Visa in Australia - should I then answer "yes" to this?

Thanks for your help!

I reckon the way that is worded, it does not include where you have previously been granted a visa like the WHV where you do not need written permission for the right to work is inherent with the WHV.
I think there is also a place on the form where you list any other visas that have been granted, so the WHV will be known about.

But if in doubt, you can rarely go wrong with erring on the side of caution so you could tick yes if you wanted to and then show dates of the WHV, approximate if need be and just put WHV in brackets beneath the dates.
That'll do nor harm.
