Golf Pro, Course manager Need info

Hello everyone, just started to consider moving to Australia, and have searched the forums for info pertaining to Golf Pros/Managers, but not getting any where.

I was wondering if there are any golf pros/manager who moved to Australia and what they did to get the ball rolling.

I am from Canada and looking for a change and better weather.

If anyone could offer a little help to help me get started, like which visa, best course of action, etc.

Thanks

Your options if existing will be either with the Employer Sponsor or the Independent Skilled route that you can check out via the top two headings on Workers - Visas & Immigration
On the Independent route, an occupation needs to be on the SOL#3 or SOL#4 and a state sponsorship list you can find via individual states sites under the 176 visa you'll find via Visas Options, the SOL via a link on opening page of the Independent visas but somehow I doubt you'll find Golf Pro on either and your best chance will be via an employer sponsorship if again Golf Pro is listed under occupations that sponsorship can be for - again look at Visa options, Temporary residency and the 457 visa and then eligibility and position nomination and you'll find a link to occupations.

If you find Golf Pro there, you may want to check with the Australian PGA or Clubs associations and see whether there are any lists re clubs that will recruit/sponsor from abroad for I imagine there'll be many lower ranked professionals in Australia that may set their sights on being a Club Gold Pro and indeed there're probably clubs that take on trainees.
