Medical question

I don't know if any of you have been through this. I did a quick forum search but didn't come up with anything too too similar-

So, I didn't want to lie about what medications I'm on so I told the truth about how I'm on a low dose of an antidepressant for mild depression. Then he asked me some questions, which I answered- no, I've never missed work because of it, no, I don't see a shrink or specialist, I get my scripts refilled by my GP when I'm in for a cold or whatever, I haven't tried going off the meds because I've heard that can have bad side effects and I'd like to save up some annual leave before going at that, etc. He didn't say anything to me then about needing a specialist's opinion, but is there still a shot I might?

BTW, this is for an onshore partner visa application. Thanks in advance for looking at this :D

I assume these were questions being asked by the MO when you attended for your medical examination and though MOs will make decisions that us mere mortals can not really comment on, or not that it matters, from a general point of view I would suspect if they were going to want further information they would have said so or you will be advised.
But to me it would seem a relatively mild sort of situation.
