190 visa for NSW

Hi everyone,

I want to know what is the following step
after successfully submitting for 190 visa for NSW.

On the official website they claim the processing takes around 12 weeks. What then?PR granted directly?
What about my wife? How will she get the visa? .. can't seem to find adequate information on the website.

In addition, when I am granted the visa what is the timeline required to move to Australia?

Any reply or links that help is appreciated.

Thanks a lot

Visa processing times on the DIBP website aren't accurate but from what I've read, I think the 190 visa does take about 3-4 months. But it will vary depending on each individual case, so it may possibly take quite a bit longer. Once granted, the 190 is a permanent visa.

If you've included your wife in your application, she will also be granted her own 190 visa. You will both need to activate your visas by the initial entry date (typically one year from the date you had your police check/medical check). Activation can be a simply trip to Australia and then return to your home until you're ready to move. You need to move before the travel rights on your visa expire (5 years after the visa is granted).

Does anyone has an idea about the cutoff for ICT Business Analyst occupation in NSW?
Also, if we are unable to find a job, can we move to the other States/ territories?

Hello everyone,

I am new to this site and request some help in VISA 190.

I have submitted my EOI for financial investment advisor ( 222311 ). I am waiting for the SOL list to open up for states. Any idea when are they going to release the SOL for different states.

How is the new process different from the one which was one year back. People who want to login their applications had to remain awake at the same time across the globe to submit their applications and site used to get hanged and most of the applicants were not able to submit their application.

What are the chances this time. My total points is 65 which is above than minimum points required of 60.

Regards, Amit
