Applying for Temporary visa after granted Prospective marriage visa

After my fiance and I get married we have to apply for a temporary visa because my current visa expires in August (PMV). I was reading the checklist for Subclass 820 & 801. Do I really need to gather all the information again? The police clearance, health exam... I was expecting to show evidence of the relationship, shared bills...
I want to apply as soon as we are married.
Any advice is appreciated especially anyone that has gone through this process and to give some sort of timeline.

You do not have to submit a police report nor medical with the application and if you've not been back to your home country since entering on the PMV, marrying and applying your existing police report ought to be fine.
They will know you had a medical previously and if you get the application in within the 12 months validity of the previous medical or again have not been outside of Australia you may find you'll not be requested to do one again.
If you do, they're not so expensive here but I'd have your application ready and as soon as you're married get a copy of the MC certified and slip the application in the mail or to the nearest office ASAP and see what they ask for.

Thanks Wanderer!!
I think I'll hand the application in person. Is there a long waiting period for approval?

There have been a few posts of late re people being told to expect processing times of about nine months or so though they are usually for straight partner visa applications and it could be different where you are moving on from a PMV.
If it takes a while, they will have you on a bridging visa until the processing is done and PR is scheduled to occur two years on from when your TR application went in so any extra processing time will not affect that.

Thanks again! I was just worried about the visa ceasing and having to fly back to the USA and being away from my husband. I'm more at ease with this part of the process unlike I did when I applied for PMV.
