Second interview for spouse 309

Hi

I'm just wondering is it normal for immigration to schedule a second interview? My husband is nepali and he applied for the 309 spouse visa at the AHC New Dehli India.

hi cfile,
That was exactly the same question I asked because I was invited for a 2nd interview. If there was problem in their routine checks, they will invite the applicant to shed light. It was to clarify some issues and it was over after I was asked to make a statutory declaration on the spot.

Nothing to be afraid, I guess.Just answer the questions to the best of your ability.Everything will turn out well for you.I'm sure.Continue hoping and praying...

Thanks for your reply.

Would they do that even for a phone interview? My husband is in nepal and the AHC is in india and they have his passport so there is no way he can do that in person.

They are fully aware of his circumstances and I see no reason why they should be unreasonable as to ask him to go all the way to AHC...They will consider his whereabouts so a phone interview is not an impossibility..

Good luck to our applications.I am still waiting too and its my 6th month this March.
