PMV 300 - third peroson (sponsor)

Hey!

I would just like to hear your thoughts regarding Prospective Visa 300. I read Australian Embassy's website about the processing time, on the last part they said that...

It may speed up processing if we can communicate with a third party (such as the sponsor) directly regarding your visa application. However, the disclosure of information to anyone other than the applicant is governed by the Privacy Act - and certain information about the application can only be provided if you give written consent. If you wish us to communicate with a third party, you should provide your written consent for us to do so.

The question is, when i submitted all documents I wrote my contact numbers not my fiancee's... Do i have to submit a consent letter so thet can contact my fiancee in Australia?

My fiancee and I just applied and I had a section in my sponsor 40sp do I give consent to be contacted by email/phone/mail and I ticked yes and put my details in. I thought the section about third party was in case you had an immigration agent or immigration lawyer and you were consenting for immi to contact your agent/lawyer.

That is what Immi are asking you for amd there are two separate parts of a partner visa application, the partner making the application and of course the sponsor as KandK is referring to and the two should not be confused.

If you want Immi to be able to contact your partner about anything outside of the sponsorship, just let them know.
