You'll be able to ernrol for our Medicare system as per Partner Visa: Offshore Temporary and Permanent (Subclasses 309 and 100) and there are some things that a partner may be able to claim for a spouse but haven't been in that boat for a while and I think it is really significant and even then not so significant when children are involved, so likely minimal effect and it's effect whereas infect is when you have a cut or a burn and something gets into it.
