Just checking in guys, has there been any update since? I applied for a partner visa for my wife on 24 Dec 2015. There was only one contact in May asking for the Indian PCC, nothing since then. Anyone else in the same boat?

We are in a similar boat but we applied in April 2016. We were contacted to provide PCC and since then we haven't heard anything.

My newborn daughter got her Australian Citizenship yesterday but since my wife is in India, she cannot come over.

Finally some good news! Couldn't have chosen a better day to post the above! Got the grant today.
DOL: 24 Dec 2015
May 10: contacted for PCC
June 09: PCC provided. Every other remaining document also provided on this date including front loading form 80
Sep 19: Applicant travelled back offshore
Sep 29: 309 Visa grant, no interview, phone call or any other contact with CO
Overall it took us 9 months and some change. So, my guess is if you front load all the documents, you can get a grant faster than the average 11 months. All the best guys, hang in there!

Case office from Delhi called for 309

Hi Becky

First of all I am a new on this forum. I am not too sure where is the right place to ask questions as I cannot find a direct tab for ask a question.

I am an Australian Citizen and married to an Indian and we filed Partner Visa Application in December 2015.

After that my husband came here on tourist Visa and still here in Australia.

My question to Becky is how far we are to get a case officer?

Also how do you find an officer had been allocated as mine is an online application submitted to Delhi AHC.

Also how long my husband can stay in Australia what I meant how many time we can apply for tourist visa before we get outcome of partner visa application.

Pleasr explain how Ican send private message to you Becky?

Thanks in advance and I will really apperciate your response.

Wellwisher

Online.
Was asked only for PCC in 2nd week of May 2016 even though no other documents were uploaded. Provided all the documents by 3rd week and notified them.
Haven't heard anything from them yet.

A friends wife got her's in 7 months. i.e. in Apr/May 2016.
Good luck.

Hi TheGeek

Can you please advise was your partner here onshone and had been asked to leave the country?

If yes then did they have tourist visa already and hoe long that was valid for?

Did you decide to. Leave the country or they gave you just 28 days irrespective of the visa validity?

Please update as we also have losged our file 26/2/2015 and case office had called asked question and sent an email to my agent and asked tp leave the country in 28 days.
