They probably skipped your case and put it on side, they will call once that is done, what they started it will finish. Still your lucky they called that quick, roughly time is 14 months now.[/QUOTE]

Hey thanks, hopefully they will call again soon.
Any progress with your application?

We applied in sept 2017 and were asked to provide PCC and medicals in Jan 2018. AHC tried calling my partner last week but he wasn’t able to take the call since he was away so they said they would give him a call back later. I am Guessing they called to take the interview. Not sure when they are going to call again though. ?

Hey senior members I have applied for 309/100 on 5th Dec 2017 offsore im from india wife is in Australia and yesterday got Docs requested by DIBP.

Form 80 updated, medical, pcc for applicant n sponsor. Is it normal time from Delhi AHC ? Also an email mentioned case officer n position number. Its complex case as i have a bad Aussie history previously claimed refugee 6 years ago. Residing in india since 5 years. Been rejected visitor visa twice in last 6 months as i have twin babies in Australia born 3 months ago. Did not get visitor visa cos of previous history.

Now my wife is coming over to india with my twin babies to stay with me till my partner visa gets granted.
How long it takes to get visa granted after docs requested by DIBP ? I knew it will take time to open file cos of previous history but surprisingly got email yesterday. Any applicant have similar situations ?

Need help!

I did my medicals on 28th Feb 2018 and happened to come across my Health assessment status 2 hours ago saying...

''Examinations assessed but further information required
A Medical Officer has determined that additional health information is required to determine whether this person meets the health requirement for the visa subclass specified. Further information will be provided by the department or the department's migration medical service provider, Bupa Medical Visa Services. Do not contact the department about health examinations in the meantime.''

I kinda started freaking out as I never had any history of illness, my fiance suggested me to stay calm and wait for a day or two believing the status might change and must be under process. (Have come across people saying their status to change from additional health requirement to cleared)

However, the stress compelled me to call up the panel clinic an hour ago and ask them if my reports were fine. They told me to take the Sputum culture test wherein the results will come only after 2 months and that I am supposed to undergo an X RAY again after three months (i.e. on 28th MAY 2018!!!!). I have no history of TB or any illness or see any symptoms of the same, no history of TB in my family either and I am finding this quite hard to believe. I am supposed to collect a letter and start with the tests in 2 days. I have been hounding on different forums and websites trying to understand this scenario.

Post talking to the panel clinic, my Health Assessment status suddenly changed to ''A panel clinic is currently processing this person's health examination(s) in eMedical. This screen will be updated once this person's case has been submitted to the department for processing. This may not occur until all results are finalised after the person has left the clinic. Ongoing delays should be followed up with the clinic in relation to the progress of your health examination results. Do not contact the department about this matter.''

I am finding this fishy as how has the status changed so quickly in a matter of fifteen minutes of me talking to the panel clinic. I have read about how some people have undergone the same and have lost huge time and money after doing the test. (TB tests are pretty expensive). Some people have even recieved responses from their CO saying the sputum tests are not required.

What is scaring me is the time frame required for all this ... 3 months in total to get all the results! If my CO wants me to do it later (depending on when I am alotted one) and I don't do it now... I may lose out on the time and will have to expect more delays. Also, after the department requested me for medicals and PCC.. I have 28 days to provide the information. However, given the change of scenario with the new tests etc. it will take 3 months. What am I supposed to do? Should I put in the mail and inform them? Has anyone gone through the same. Can anyone shed light on this matter?

Also, should I confirm the new requirements with the health dept of immigration? Is there an email id I can contact?

PMV Lodged: 26th October 2017
Country: India
Medicals and PCC requested: 24th February 2018
Medicals done: 28th February 2018
Police done and submitted: 1st March 2018
Additional Medical Requested: 1st March 2018

Help regarding tourist visa while offshore partner visa process

Hi I applied for PMV on February 19th 2018. My medical and PCC has been uploaded 24th February and 27th February. Now I'm thinking to apply for tourist visa but before that I have some doubt and questions.
1) I've never been to Australia.
2) I got refusal for tourist visa last year March month due to incomplete documents
3) currently I'm not working.
What are my chances If I apply for tourist visa and in what category (family or just 600).
Pls help me with this

Hi everyone,

I understand you will have to be offshore when they make a decision on 309. However, my question is does the Immigration request you to leave the country so they can make a decision on offshore visa, or if I left the country it would speed up the decision on the visa?

The background information is-

-Applied 309/100 in June 2017
-Decision ready application all the required documents submitted.
-In Australia on 600 for last 7 months.

Question That was amazingly described

Wow that was really amazing to describe the entire horrifying steps and details of getting a 309....

Hi I am from India as well.
Applied for 309 on 10th Oct 2016
Visa got granted on 19th Feb 2018 God knows why it took so long now I am Due for visa 100 on 10th Oct 2018.
Are we suppose to submit exactly the same documents for 100 as we did for 309 by adding the recent advancements ???
Got the earlier lodgement done by an agent so can we do it on our own through a new immi account ?
