Yayyyy, Becky! Any day now! I can only imagine how relieved you are going to be, and how much crying there will be, lol. I know what it's like - so many of us do on this forum - because we've been there. As much as I hate seeing you and anyone else separated from their spouse, when I read this forum it makes me hold mine a little tighter every night in gratitude that I'm finally here with him. That will be you, soon!

Hahahaha!!! Yes CG, there WILL be a lot of crying
I am relieved to know that we have now reached the final stage of the processing and that hopefully don't have a very long wait ahead of us.
But at the same time I don't want to be too relieved until I get my grant letter in my inbox

Thank you for all your kind wishes and for being there when I needed to vent and for all your helpful advice, I have said this before but I'll say it again, had I found this forum when we applied for our 820/801 in 2012 our application wouldn't have gotten denied and my husband and I wouldn't have had to go through the most painful and depressing 2 years of our lives.

We just are very excited and can't wait to see each other again, get our old life back and plan our future together without having to live in fear of the visa
And you said it very correctly that when we see what difficult situations others are going through to get to their partners makes us realise how precious these moments together are and makes us appreciate both our partners, their efforts and all that time they waited for us and life as a whole
Will update your guys soon Thank you once again! Xx

Kind Regards,
Becky

Check...check...and check....feel the same here...our lives are getting wasted just waiting......

Also someone who applied online on the other immigration forum from India who has been waiting for the past 270 days for a case officer allocation called AHC today and was told that they have been experiencing some system/software issues globally and the process has been slowed down because of it. The operator advised the that the issue should be resolved by today 3:00PM, and if it still isn't resolved they will escalate the issue to higher authorities.

Not sure how much of this is true and how is an excuse to dodge the wrath of fuming applicants.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Kind Regards,
Becky

What a wonderful information!!!!!

I can tell everybody that all the information provided by Becky applies to all AHCs in all countries, regardless of the level of Risk the country is EXCEPT THE TIME FRAME( Nairobi-12 months).

There can be some little difference. I would urge those applying now or already applied to read keenly these valuable information.

I also expect the same procedures, compare what others who applied in Nairobi told me before. The information and steps are just one and the same. I am on the first step, As I have only received the acknowledgement letter, with my file number and the COs name and email address. I included my Police Check with the application, only that as advised me by my immi agent. I will make use of your information, Becky.

I am happy to have pple like Becky and CG and of course Mark Northman- a Famous Immi Agent.

I appreciate your tireless support for all applicants.

Good luck everybody

Hey Me1706,

Welcome to the Forum
Thank you for providing your application details. Do you know when your application was allocated a case officer? And what his/her initials are if you don't mind sharing.

Have you spoken to AHC to find out the reason for the hold up? As per the other immigration forum I'm a member of, almost all of December 2013 applicants have received their visas by now except for a couple of applicants who are waiting in the final queue.

Unfortunately AHC New Delhi doesn't grant the visa as soon as the applicant gets offshore. From what I've seen, if the AHC has to notify the applicant to get offshore, you might have to wait for a bit longer. Sometimes they wait for the applicant to get offshore to even send the file to the final queue.
Please do let us know when you hear something from AHC. Hope this helps and that you may get your visa very soon. Good Luck!

Kind Regards,
Becky

Hi Becky
thanks for your reply. I never received any email saying mentioning that I have bern assigned case officer. I was only asked about further information. Yes I did call AHC they always say its under process.... I m very disappointed as they never give proper information.
