Btw I called immigration and visited home affairs head office in the city yesterday here in Melbourne... They are telling it will take 17months for this visa catagory. That also 95%...other 5% may take more than 17 months..im just crying... I want my husband here soon...

@trishie141 90% application take 17 months, that's the global processing time. Don't loose hope and upload documents every few weeks to show them that your relationship is ongoing. Good luck

@sunny20013- hi sunny, have you ever visited australia under tourist visa while your 309 provisional visa is processing? Now you are in your 16th month, can you plz post your visa grant as soon as you will receive so that I can calculate my husband's visa grant time.

Hi I haven't appied tourist visa bcoz I been there for 5 years as a student in Melbourne. I think that's y they might have reason to refuse my tourist visa. My wife visited to see me this year so we can have some more evidence like air tickets and hotel bills and I have uploaded but still no answer from them. Just don't loose faith and wait or you can fill the Australian Online inquiry form which I did so you may have some respons https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/about...ration-enquiry
