nothing like this...i applied my self in Nov 17 and got the visa 3 days before the 11 months. I uploaded all the docs requested and was crisp with info...did not over load the information....a few pics to prove holidays etc, few emails spaced out to show continuity. none of my witnesses were contacted at all. they just called me and asked me a few details...a few mins of call and then out of the blue after 2 months I got the visa.

Anyone got good news? So silent since a week... I called vfc and they got my all detail and said that they would transfer to the Australian immigration department and try to take your application in fast track coz almost 19 months gone. I wish they will keep their promise. 😕😕

Good morning,
Forgive me for not searching this over the forum as I thought this is something rare!!
So I lodged the sub class 300 application in Dec 2017, and then in March 2018 went to Australia on subclass 600. Me and my partner got married before getting the 300 we applied for in July 2018 and then I had to return to India as my file changed to 309 and I wasn't eligible for bridging visa. In Oct 2018, I recieved an email from my case officer asking for more documents. Which I submitted by Nov 2018.
Now the query is, application ID in the email I received is different than acknowledgment receipt I got in Dec 2017, but the file number is the same. So the file I see on immi account is the old one or the new one? I asked vfs, but they couldn't help me get a reference number from application ID. Where should I enquire about this? Is this the reason why I cannot see any change in my immi account even though they asked for more documents?
Thanks in advance.

Hi all its been exact 1 year since we applied for partner visa offshore, On 5th Dec 2018 our agent got an email from DOHA mention,

We are writing to inform you that your application for a Partner (Provisional) visa is in progress. Your application takes time to process as we complete a number of thorough checks.

Application on 5th dec 2017 from delhi
Medical and pcc for both requestsed in feb and submitted in month of march 2018 since then nothing came up until got an email on 5th dec 2018. How long its takes more time to granted ? Any body has a same situations ?

I don't think so.... My 309 granted in 9 months and 100 granted in 16 months without any questions asked by emails, phones or interview. We submitted by ourselves. I think it is very straight forward application. If the relationship is genuine, you will get approved one day...

I heard if we apply without a MARA agent, it will drag in to even 26-34 months...
And we apply alone...
