Hello all,

I applied 309 visa on 14th January 2019.My husband and I got married in Oct 2018 and we front-loaded our application. PCC - 01 FEB 2019. Medicals - 23 MAR 2019. We applied visitor visa twice and got approved only the second time and I was in Australia from June 30th - Sep 29th. When I applied for a visit visa again on Oct 5,2019 , my visa got rejected (17th Oct) stating " I might be onshore when my visa is being processed and that I am showing interest to leave my home country quite often ". On Oct 9th, we received s56 RFI and it had a checklist of documents and it was mentioned as a "pre-assessment request". Although I had submitted most of my documents, we uploaded proof from my 3-month stay in Australia. Its been more than 40 days since my RFI and we are left clueless. If anyone has had any similar timelines, it would be great if you can share your story.

I am exactly in same situation as you. Same marriage month and application lodgement and kind of same time for s56 RFi so waiting for next email. After email did you click on that " I've provided all requested documents" when I did that Status changed straight away to further assessment. Good to luck Maate
