One year is a very rough estimate. Some applications takes longer.

Current global processing times:
75% less than 17 months, 10% longer than 20 months.

New Delhi AHC in 17/18 fiscal year has taken less than 223 days to finalise 50% of applications.

Some get an interview. Some get grants even without any contact from AHC.

We have attached form 80 now. Everything else is front loaded.
Does anyone know how long it will take for the grant?
Thanks
To me its like they have started working on your file. keep on adding any more important proofs. of they need anything else there will be another RFI otherwise you will grant straight away
In my case when I received first RFI, 2nd RFi came after almost 2 months and then grant after a week or so

We have uploaded all PCC's and medical has been done.
We are expecting our first child in March 2020. Will it speed up the process? Attached all pregnancy documents.
Thanks.

Looking into their timelines and my Visa process, I think it shouldn't be far, however every case is different and to me it all depends upon case officer who is looking into your file.
Regarding Your child and Pregnancy related proofs, I can't really say that this speeds up the process but again it depend upon case officer, however its definitely positive point.

This was from the IMMI website:
In general, planned employment in Australia, schooling for children, pregnancy, property sale, or separation of partners, for example, are not considered sufficient reason for an application to be prioritised, as these circumstances are common to many partner visa applications.

But it might help in the overall process.

Yes, it will not speed up the process. However, having a child will certainly add to the genuineness of the relationship which is a big plus.

If u have all documents from ultra sound, docs report etc. You can update them about when your expecting your first child. And not wait till the child is born. It will have a plus on your application. Almost like frontloading.
