Congratulations. I got married in March 2019, applied 309 in June 2019, still no response. What did you think helped the CO in such quick processing of your visa? Did you supply limited info or detailed?

Thank you, my wife's tourist visa for New Zealand got rejected right before lockdown on the 13th March. Will it have a negative impact on the 309 Australian visa? I am just wondering should I submit the optional form 80 and 1221 with these details or wait till asked? Thank you in advance!

There was one subclass-309 approval on the 17th of April. Let's hope processing continues from tomorrow onwards. Still need to keep in mind that the consulate's main focus is the Australians stranded in India.

1. Ofcourse. You need to provide the form 888, atleast 2. Asap. Dont wait for them to be requested

2. Joint bank account is to prove shared financial.responsibility so yes, if u dont have it, there other proofs to support the financial aspect of the relationship which u can use[/QUOTE]

There was another approval on the 17th. But haven't heard anything since. I guess they are working on the 4 flights leaving from India to Australia next week to get their citizens home.
