Red face Re-Applying Tourist Visa

Hi all,
I'm a new Member Mukund. Glad to have come across this forum. Its filled with friendly and helpful people and vital info.

Application Details:
Married : May 1, 2015
Partner entered Australia through 3 month Visitor Visa: May 15, 2015
Partner exited Australia : June 23, 2015
Spouse Visa launched : June 28 , 2015.

Query: My partner has exited the country well ahead of the 3 month visitor visa expiry. Now, would she need to wait until the 3 months expiry , to re-apply for a visitor visa again? Or, can she re-apply for another visitor visa while the current one is still active?

Thanks in advance for your response. Kindly respond to this query only if you are well versed with the process or have gone through a similar situation.

emailing your CO wont help because even I mailed my co a couple of times but haven't got a reply yet. a voice conversation is always better.

Is the current one multi entry? If so she can re enter before the last entry date and can stay for a further 3 months.

Hi,
I have just got registered on this forum.
The lodging of my application for offshore partner visa was on July 17th 2014. I am waiting for the case officer to get in touch with me. My query was "Will i be able to travel to Australia on Tourist Visa now and at the time of visa grant exit Australia to go to a nearby country and re enter once the process is complete?" Is it worth the risk of travelling on tourist visa now while it's been a year since the application. But i am just not sure how much more time until the Case Officer gets in touch with me. Please help clarify. Thank you.

plz make sure you book an appointment with the AHC. because they don't entertain walk-in's.

its not worth taking that risk of travelling to OZ on a tourist visa. since you are already reaching the indicative time limit. travelling to Australia would definitely delay ur process. just hang in there n wait for little more time.

good luck to you..........

Thank you so much for clarifying. We did write to the immigration last month and got a reply from them on Jun 23rd stating that a case officer has been allotted to me and will get in touch. But i have not heard from my C.O. yet. Would you know the tentative time they take to get in touch when the visa is in this stage?

As gm6 said, don't waste your time and energy going to the AHC. Unless you have a letter from your case officer asking you to come in and meet, you will not be let into the high commission.
There is no way they will let you in without a letter that states you are required to see someone there.

Hang in there, we all have been there. Have patience and faith in the Almighty. Good days are in the near future.

Good Luck!

Kind Regards,
Becky

Arrow Partner Permanent (Subclass 100) Visa Application

Hey All,

Hope everyone is keeping warm, OMG! Brisbane is freezing!
As my eligibility is approaching very quickly- July 22, 2015, I am aware that I will be needing a Federal Police Check for the subclass 100 re-assessment.

I'm not too sure if I should apply for the police check now and send it with my paperwork or if I should wait to get asked for it.
Also, will I be required to do the medicals for the second stage as well. My medicals, Australian PCC and the Indian PCC had expired in July 2014 but my then case officer only asked me to provide her my new Indian PCC.

So should I book myself for the visa medicals and apply for the Australian PCC now or should I wait.
Look forward to your replies. Thanks for your time and help

Kind Regards,
Becky
