VFS India website is for Indian or other nationals that need documents from the Indian High Commission in Australia.

No worries!
In India there is VFS Australia which is a visa application center.

Below mentioned website will take you to the website I mentioned in my previous post:-
VFS Global

Good Luck!

Kind Regards,
Becky

Hi,

I am new to this forum. But thought I'll share my experience for the benefit of others. Becky, your inputs and kind words are indeed very valuable.

Details of Spouse Visa application are as follows:
Application online via migration agent: July 2014
Indian PCC Date : early July 2014 (this is now just over 12 months old, will see if they ask for an updated one. Hopefully they don't)
Medicals completed: April 2015
Case Officer Allocation Date : Not known (as it does not appear online)
Phone Interview : 17/07/2015 (almost 1 year since application date)
Visa Grant Date: Waiting!!!(Hopefully soon)

FYI - I was over the moon to get the call. The case officer (CO) was very nice and asked a few (5-6) brief questions only. CO advised that an email will be sent if any other documents are required, otherwise a decision can be made very soon.

Will keep you all posted of the development.

Regards,
Apmel

It's better to get the new PCC coz they may ask it..in some cases they didn't ask for new but my PCC got expired too and when I informed the same to my CO she said she will let me know if anything required and after a week she asked for new PCC .
I took 10days to get the new PCC issued from passport office. So just to save your time you should get the new one.

Even I was thinking same but the procedure has been changed, now if ur passport is more than 1 year old they will do police verification and than will issue New PCC

Hi Milli, FYI - India PCC obtained within a day. Passport was issued slightly more than a year ago.

Hey guys!

Hope everyone is doing well.
When it comes to PCC and RPO, different offices have their different rules and timelines which is what makes the process more confusing and frustrating more than it has to be.

From what I've read and seen happen so far, applicants with passports that are less than a year old, get the PCC issued on the same day as application. Some RPOs follow this, some don't.

But congratulations on getting the PCC on the same day
Good Luck with your application and thanks for keeping us updated.

Kind Regards,
Becky
