Good news!!! Spouse Visa granted 29/7/2015!!!

Details of Spouse Visa application are as follows:
Application online via migration agent: 22 July 2014
Indian PCC Date : 20 July 2014
Medicals completed: April 2015
Case Officer Allocation Date : Not known (as it does not appear online)
Phone Interview of sponsor only : 17/07/2015 (almost 1 year since application date)
The case officer (CO) was very nice and asked a few (5-6) brief questions only. CO advised that an email will be sent if any other documents are required, otherwise a decision can be made by the next week.
No additional documents asked.
Visa Grant Date: 29/7/2015 (1.5 weeks after interview). Grant letter received.
Online Application status changed to state 'Finalised'

Hope everyone hears good news earlier rather than later.

I also applied last year onshore and got refused and now applied offshore.

Can you please tell how long did they take to approve this time?

Rajan_Sidhu (message sent from my brother's account)

yes they took 8 months total..i applied my visitor visa after my medicals were done in last december(the same month of my lodgement).then i spent 6 months in aus as a visitor(it was nice time with my baby, but full of stress as i was not working and used to check e-mail account hundreds of times a day).and i was living with my in-laws.it was hard but they always gave me blessings hundreds of time to get my visa done as their daughter was also associated in this process of visa thingy.
I kept myself busy with my new born lovely daughter and in local library.at the time of lodgement i also had the same excitement like you but believe me,once you ge you visa done then you gonna thank god for everything.
I now have more respect for my wife as its all because of her.She changed my life.I love her so much.
