Maybe it's because he's getting ready to grant your visa? (just a personal opinion)

Have you called them?

15 months is a long wait. I hope you get your visa soon!

It's only been 8 months since I applied for the 309. I had a student visa cancelled and I withdrew my Onshore Partner Visa application because I couldn't meet the schedule 3 criteria. I was hoping to get my visa granted within 12 months.

Do you know anyone who had a refused/cancelled visa and got their partner visa within 12 months?

Hey All,

I know how difficult waiting for 15 or so months is. I have been in a similar boat.
When it comes to how long the case officer is meant to be taking to update the applicant of the processing stages or even granting the visa is a question similar to how long is a piece of thread is.

Knowing the fact that there was complications in my case I didn't call my case officer until after she gave my husband an estimated date by when we should be expecting our visa to be granted. When my visa wasn't granted by the date she gave my husband as we had been waiting for 16 months; that's when the series of emails and calls started from our end.

Did the case officer give you or your partner a time frame as to how long he/she was going to be taking to assess your visa application from the time he/she contacted you last?

Good luck and wish you a speedy grant.

Kind Regards,
Becky

Hi Becky,

Is the processing time for complex cases usually longer than 12 months?

I'm a little confused...how were you subjected to schedule 3 if it was an offshore application?

Offshore is not subjected to schedule 3.
