309 - Provisional visa grant may vary generally it take 6 months to 14 months depends on your luck as per August application of 309 it may take 13 months to 16 months .... and about case officer call many times they just contact by email for inquiry or they grant visa straight .... and if they call it depends on questions answers but i dont think i would take more then 45 minutes ....

Hi everyone, I need your advice if anyone knows ... I'm planning on entering Australia on a tourist visa (eVisitor 651) from mid October. I have not received any communication from a CO or anyone, so there is no point of contact for me to tell them that I'll be in the country, however it's important for them to know I suppose.
Would I submit that information under the "change of circumstance" form on the ImmiAccount? (even though the circumstances as such have not changed)

I am in the same boat, I plan on entering in December and doubt I will have heard anything by then. I probably will submit my health and police record before then, so hope that might trigger some communication.

They will know you're onshore from your passport being scanned at the airport. You should however still update your details with your onshore address while you're in Australia.

Oh right, I didn't think of that but of course they would know since everything runs electronically anyway. The visitor visa also shows on the ImmiAccount.

Thanks for the advice tijanaoc
I think'll update the "postal address" with the Australia address and keep my residential adress as is, don't want to seem presumptuous.
