Hello everyone,

I'm from India.Joining the wait room for partner visa.
Married for 11 years with a child (8 years).
Visa lodgement date is July 17 2017.
PCC: done
Medicals: done for my daughter and myself(August 3rd 2017).
Documents upload were completed by July 25th(except medicals).

We got additional information request from Delhi during last week of September requesting for PCC for sponsor.

It has been completed now( both Australia verification and VFS) and documents will be uploaded today.

Hoping to get a visa soon!!

My question:
I read in the Immi site that visa grants are case to case basis and no more first come first serve? How far is that in reality?
Please share your inputs.

I couldn't find much information about processing times when I lodged my application, so I was very surprised when I got my visa after a short-ish wait!
I was never asked to give an interview. The only contact I got from them was when they requested medicals and police clearence.
