On their website they are saying 11 to 16 months, however someone who has gone through the same process at KL may be able to give you a better idea of the time frame.

How often is the website updated regarding waiting times? Is it considered accurate? I have seen some that are processed very fast, and others that drag on for a long time.

It is updated monthly, and yes it is accurate if you read it correctly, which most people do not.

It currently says the 309 is estimated at:

75% of applications processed in 11 months
90% of applications processed in 16 months.

Does this mean a 11-16 month wait on average? No. Only an estimated 15% will wait between 11 and 16 months.

75% of apps will be processed by 11 months. An app processed in 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, and so on up to 11 months are all within that 75%. This is why you see some fast and some that take longer.

So basically, you are most likely to be processed in 11 months or less.

Hello!
We lodged our de facto partner visa application offshore from Germany on the 2nd October 2017, received a letter from a CO on the 27th of November 2017 and I've had my medical on the 30th of November 2017. Now the waiting begins...
My partner is Australian, I'm German and we've got a daughter that just turned one. I'm not sure, but that might be the reason for the fast processing so far.
Cheers!

Hell Everyone
I am Ahmed
I applied my visa 309/100 offshore through a Migration Agent located in Australia. As i live in Kuwait on a work visa so my case officer is in Dubai.
Visa was Applied on 28-March-2017 I had a request to do the Biometrics which i did in couple of days.
Later on 24-April-2017 i was requested to do the Medicals which was also done in couple of days.
And then on the 8-May-2017 i was assigned with a case officer and i was requested to submit more documents (request check list) which is totally completed and submitted. Its been 8 Months and 7 days since visa applied.

Since then we didn't heard anything from the CO is anyone here has the same consulate (DUBAI) please share your experience how are you going.

My migration agent said to be most probably we will get reply in the first week or Mid of January.

Anyone here would like to give some advice please.
