It seems the London office works the fastest of them all.

I did my application through the Berlin office and I submitted my application on the 12th of november, 2 weeks later I received a request for additional information: police checks and medicals which I uploaded on the 14th of January.

It's really nerve wrecking cause i'm reading that a lot of people trough the London office who also applied in November 2017 received there golden email already.....

Personally I believe the Berlin office is as fast as/if not faster than the London office. I read almost every thread and lately there have been numerous grants from Berlin that took 2-3 months.

My partners visa took 2 months and 10 days for approval (applied in Nov 2017 and granted early Jan 2018).

Both London and Berlin are both incredibly quickly lately. Or course every case is different and some peoples unfortunately take longer. It seems to be very random for the reason for this.

Edit: Just noticed you didnít finalise uploading your medicals/police checks until the 14th Jan. After providing requested information it can take a couple of weeks for them to grant it, or maybe longer. So the good news is it is hopefully soon.

After our CO requested our police checks, it took about two weeks for the visa grant. Sit tight, you should hopefully get a grant soon.

How did you submit? We uploaded my wife's Australian police check to the Immi account and then responded to the email the CO had sent with the police check attached asking if there was anything else outstanding and it was granted literally minutes after the email. I'm not saying that was the reason but worth a shout...

I was going to call them if I didn't receive the golden email to check if anything was left on it to try and give them a nudge.

I don't think theres any right or wrong way though just sharing my experience.

I submitted it all online trough immi account. I might send them an email to find out if they need anything more. Thanx for the tip

You did click the information button provided, right?

As I said in my previous post (not sure if you saw it or not), you might be very close to a grant. The timing after providing the requested information is very similar to ours, and about two weeks after providing our requested documents it was approved.

hello,

how long after lodging and paying for 309 does the status go to processing?

my wife is coming to australia soon on visitor visa, leaving france on the 10th feb (9 days from now) so based on what everyone typically experiences is there enough time to apply for her 309 before the 10th ?

thank you in advance
regards
Bushie

Hi Ranger101! We're sort of on the same timeline. My wife lodged her application back in October 2017 through the Berlin office, got a request for Medicals and Police Checks on Nov 30, 2017, and we uploaded the requested documents on Jan 15, 2018. We clicked the Information Provided button on our Immi account and we're now waiting for the outcome. Hopefully we'll find out soon! Looks like it's normal to wait for 2-3 weeks for the outcome after providing the requested additional information. Cheers.

Hi Guys thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated!

I did click the information provided button Savage_Flame!

Hi RomanHoliday yeah that is really similar to my situation. I did send the department an email yesterday. I'm checking my email 100 times a day just to find out if the golden email is already there. Really exciting times.
