Awesome, congrats!
It is a great feeling hey? You must be over the moon right now.

I had a feeling you would get an approval soon. Almost identical timeline to mine.

All the best on your new adventure!

Hi Ranger101! We're sort of on the same timeline. My wife lodged her application back in October 2017 through the Berlin office, got a request for Medicals and Police Checks on Nov 30, 2017, and we uploaded the requested documents on Jan 15, 2018. We clicked the Information Provided button on our Immi account and we're now waiting for the outcome. Hopefully we'll find out soon! Looks like it's normal to wait for 2-3 weeks for the outcome after providing the requested additional information. Cheers.
Hey Roman,

That is almost the identical timeline I had.
Submitted end of October, requested for medicals/police checks in November (we held off until end of December), and after submitting got our approval two weeks later. All up took 2 months 10 days.

Seems very likely (do not mean to get your hopes up) you may hear some good news very soon. A lot of similar timelines recently, and also from myself, and Ranger, as the posts above. Good luck!

That's great news Ranger101! Congratulations! We're still waiting for ours. Hope it'll arrive soon.

By the way, to what email address of the Berlin office did you send your query to?

Thanks!

Hi everyone!

I am applying for my partnership visa from 6th December and today I got asked to supply further information!

Happy that I finally got a case worker and finger crossed the end is nearer than I thought!

I got requested to supply my Australian Police check.. easy enough!

What I am really stumped by was to supply further information for the financial aspect of my relationship for Dec 16-Dec 17 (specifically Jan-Apr 2017) and (Aug-Sep 17)

I have uploaded all my joint accounts! and we uploaded both of our individual accounts for the whole year which on both I detailed and highlighted where are joint expenses were and what we paid as a couple

Where I think they might be seeing a problem is we have no joint assets and no joint bills (we lived at my parents, where we had a informal agreement of rent to be paid as a couple each week) Also we didn't have a joint account from Jan-Apr 17 as we went from Australia to UK and was setting ourselves up and just used our single accounts for the moment until I had a job again and we could use a joint account more easily again.

Im wondering if asking my parents to do a stat dec might help?

Also maybe doing another joint statement detailing why we have a gap in our joint account finances?

Anyone that has been in this situation and anyone with advice in what else I can upload/ do to help satisfy this request.

I am freaking out that my whole visa could be denied based on a couple months in which we didn't have a joint account! I had made such a strong and detailed application in my opinion otherwise.

Hi there Eagle,

I won't be able to answer your question unfortunately but I just wanted to ask you if you remember what your online immi status said in the beginning months? Me and my partner applied there last week. I obviously don't expect to receive any contact for at least a few months but it says under my application (i'm the applicant) "received" and under hers (the sponsor) "submitted". Does this sound correct?

Just curious....are you seeing the sponsor as "submitted" under your application or does your sponsor have his/her own account?

yes all good. Usually it takes up to 6, 7 months for CO to be appointed (at least in our region), so in the mean time keep uploading all the relevant documents and latest chats/calls history..
