Yes. My wife (Au citizen, sponsor) has been with me in Canada for two years and we lodged a successful application.

May I ask why you have or are continuously emailing the department? If you've submitted all required documentation and have not received anymore correspondence from the department, there isn't much need to email them.

It's a waiting game, really.

Got the e-mail this morning, got my 12-month tourist visa!! Very happy about that. Now it's just for my partner to find somewhere for us to live in Melbourne. Can't wait to go, haven't seen him since February. Good luck everyone!

Thank you for your advice I will stop emailing. I was continuously emailing to may be let them know my situation and that I am living alone while my husband is still awaiting Visa Grant from Fiji.
Fingers crossed something happens soon.

But thanks once again

Question: my partner and I visited Australia and stayed with my family this past Christmas, after our application was lodged. Should I update the application somehow? I remember there were questions about countries the applicant had visited, but am not sure if the actual online application form can be updated (and if so, whether this is advisable).

Thanks!

Please update your flag here .

Hello , about a month ago I got married to my fiance who is a citizen of Australia(we are both Iranian). We are preparing our documents.
I have some questions about immiaccount. Can my husband use his immiaccount to apply for me ?
Should we send the hard copy of the documents like photos, bills and the marriage documents to the embassy?
I would appreciate your help if you answer
Thank you

I hope every thing goes well for you. I have a question about immiaccount, my husband is the sponsor, can he use his immiaccount for my visa and complete it himself? Or I should use an immiaccount with my own name and information?
Thank you

Yes,your husband can use his immiaccount and fill it by himself.
Like you can use one immiaccount for applicant and sponsor.

I know that this was posted long time ago, but could you tell me how long it took you to get the grant?
