Based on the Washington thread it seems to be a 12mo+ timeline for those of us in the US. Someone just got theirs today after a long stretch of nobody hearing anything; it's exciting to see movement!

Edit: sorry I see you're already over in the other thread too!

Gosh, I sure hope it's not being centralized and will still be processed globally. I feel like centralizing the process will only slow things down, and make things even less efficient than it currently is.

I also guess that everyone's application context is different, with countries applied from, quality of evidence documents etc. so I haven't lost complete hope of getting it sooner rather than later! Hopefully someone can share some positive news..the waiting game is the worst!

Fingers crossed for everyone! <img src="http://www.australiaforum.com/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />

Does that mean all applications for U.S. citizens are only processed in Washington? I had no idea :\

That's really nice to hear! Keeps me hopeful. I've done the same. Although our application is pretty simple, I've been super detailed and provided thorough documents and evidence, hoping that helps a lot. But it's super good to hear that someone with no kids and isn't married got theirs in 6 months. I wonder if the fact your application went through Seoul makes the difference. Is that because you're a Korean citizen?

We were together for 2 years at the point of application, no children, and not already married. I went through Seoul, and just made sure to upload every single thing I could think of. Hope this helps !

They don't prioritize apps based on length of relationship or children.
