hi mates - hope everyone is doing good

I just wanted some advise on my case

I got Nikah-fied(Pakistan) in Jan-2018 and due to various reasons had to divorce in Mar-2018 , got the Nadra Divorce cert - I had 309 and 600 visit visas filed but withdrawn successfully.

Now I am marring my fiancee which I got engaged and in a healthy relationship. Planning marriage Dec-2018/Jan-2019

Do I need to hire a migration agent to handle my case now or it should be easy to handle myself? any expected complications? any advises to make sure this visa that I file goes smoothly?

thanks guys

Does anyone have similar application date and have you heard anything?

It's been 6 months since I logged my application and have heard nothing.
We applied February 12th in Canada. Visa granted 36 days later.

My Sri Lankan husband and I submitted our 309/100 Spouse visa application 21 May 2018. We are both living together in Sri Lanka and are now wondering how long the likely wait time will be for us? Seems some people are lucky enough to get grants after only a few months while other people are waiting a year and longer (maybe because of being in different countries?). Any insight on what approximate waiting times are currently for our area would be really appreciated. I understand each case is different but some rough ideas that could help our general planning would be very much appreciated. Thanks very much.

Really disheartened to see the processing times jump up so high! We were advised by our agent to go for the off shore route (even though we were not confident with doing that as it meant my husband wouldn't be able to work when we arrive if the visa wasn't granted in time and no bridging options available) and they were confident it would be turned around really quickly as we were a fairly straight forward case and still no sign of a CO!
Agents don't necessarily equal fast turnaround

Hi,

Are you sponsor or applicant?
Is the sponsor living in Australia or offshore?

Please update your flag here .

Dear all,

i'm Jordanian and my wife is Australian. we got married in 2013 and we have a baby girl. she is one year old now.
I applied for Visa 309 on 3rd of March 2018 online through immiaccount from dubai. i submitted all supporting documents related to the application with all forms , police clearance, Bio-metric, and Medical test by 6th of March 2018.

since that day i didn't receive any feedback from them and my status is still "further assessment"

is there anyone here applied this year "2018" from Dubai?
and what is your application status please.

we are planning to move to Australia by early next year "2019" and i'm afraid that the new processing time of 21 to 26 months will not allow us to do so

in addition, is the new processing time apply for all even if you have applied before July 2018 as at the time i have applied it was 12 to 16 months. please advise..
