I think processing time is going to be lower in next couple of months back to normal 9 - 12 months except for some unlucky complex rare cases where high commission need longer time to process.

Because.........

Looking at month of July 2018 and number of grants all over the world compared to month of May and June 2018. I assume it was a public stunt by Peter Dutton for upcoming elections in Australia in 2019 as his party won on the name of Border protection in last election. No doubt, LNP did good job back then but now they are faking it. He did hold visa grants for last few months and issued after the end of financial year to show figures have gone LOW. if that's true and 9 news Media and such politicians are shame who are fooling common Australians.

Am i being too negative or there are chances what i am thinking can be true ?

Does anyone have similar application date and have you heard anything?

It's been 6 months since I logged my application and have heard nothing.
We applied February 12th in Canada. Visa granted 36 days later.

I believe they aren't looked at in order of receiving, rather in order of how 'decision ready' they are

Couldn’t tell you, we were just as surprised. We front loaded with police and medical checks.

I like to think it was how well put together our application was.

We applied February 12th in Canada. Visa granted 36 days later.
We applied December 2017 (Germany) and PMV was granted about 42 days later.

Our medicals and police checks werent front loaded and we were requested for them about 4 weeks into the process. After supplying them 2 weeks later we got the grant about 1 week after that.

They certainly are not processed inorder received - that is very clear over long history.

A strong application helps, but that wont be the only factor.

While I never saw Eh's application, I do know many months of intense work was done on it (they delayed many months and many times). I was not suprised to see theirs granted fast.

Not seen that effort since Lady and requiring Shed 3.

Homework is key.

Hi Elliot

I applied 06 Jun 2018 from Ontario Canada as well, not as far back as you but things seem to be progressing though. Did my Health exam last week and status of that changed to

"Health clearance provided – no action required "All health examinations required for the specified visa subclass have been finalised. Processing of this person's visa application can now continue. This will not occur until a case officer investigates the case in line with published processing times for the visa that has been applied for. Do not contact the department about health examinations in the meantime."

Not sure when i'll hear back next.
