From my understanding until you press the button, it does not get assessed by a CO. I can be wrong. You can press the button and read the message that pops up asking you to confirm.

What does it say for your application 'status'?

I doubt it. If that were the case, it would be a loophole for someone to just skip clicking that button and never get their case assessed.

Hello Guys.
Just curious. How many times will CO ask for either further info or documents?
Thanks

What would be the objective in that after paying $7k?

Depends on your case and how much further information they require to make an assessment. If you submit all necessary documents at the start they may never ask for any additional details.

Scam relationships that likely face refusal. People that didn't meet the evidence requirements when they applied. Relationships that broke down during processing and the visa will be refused.

Zol,
Thanks for the reply. Was already asked to provide birth certificate for my daughter last month and it was sent and received 5 days from when it was requested. My worry is that some of those docs might expire soon such as our police clearance (not the Aussie one) from my country.

Unfortunately if they do expire then you can be asked to provide new ones but from reading on here it seems there is leniency on occasions especially if it is a cumbersome process and you have already submitted the required documents before hand and the expiry is due to lengthy processing. Having said that, your experience might vary.

Have you been asked for them by the CO or just preempting?
