We applied in Mid June, still waiting. Puts a massive stress on everyone, and the relationship.

The same timeline as mine, is stressing but look at the bright side. A lot of time to learn and do things before visa being granted. I'm taking some courses that i interested in, preparing myself for the real impact of cross- cultural living best of luck for all of us soon

We applied 1st July 2018 - still waiting too...

Yesterday we sent an inquiry to the Nairobi high commission (we are processed through them) asking information on applying for a visitor visa while the partner visa is still not granted.

This morning we received a response (which doesn't answer our question):
"Dear Sir/Madam, Your application is yet to be allocate a case officer.
Please be patient and someone will be in communication with you soon."

However, let's wait and see, maybe the communication will trigger them to assign a CO?!?!

Hello everyone,

This is Vishwas and I am new the forum, was not able to read all the 198 pages of the thread but was able to browse through some of the pages, just to give a background of where I am right now.

I am in Australia on a PR from December 2017, got married on 12th Dec 2018 in India, We were in a relationship for close to a year and half before the wedding, I came back and submitted the application will all the docs front uploaded on 4th Jan (documents uploaded on 6th Jan, Australian Police Check on 14th Jan, my wife's medical on 2nd Feb).

Now the wait begins for us.

I know I am at a very initial stage of the application processing, I would like to wish all of you the best and hope everyone gets the visa soon.

Kind Regards,
Vishwas

Timeline:-
Application: 4th Jan.
APC: 14th Jan.
PCC (spouse): front uploaded.
Medical Check: 2 Feb (requirements meet as per the portal).
