Hey yeah i know i just don't understand why immi view the people that get RFI first surly if they are looking at all the people that submitted around my time and they don't need anything from me why cant they just grant it, i guess their just running out of spots for this year and giving them to older 2017 apps which i understand. it just confuses me when i hear from people from USA office that lodged after me getting RFI. i guess we will never understand the way the system works.

Well, depending on which visa you applied for you could be waiting another 3 to 9 months.

But, you're probably far more observant than me, so you know that.

I suggest looking for ways to stay Zen, because the wait is like a yoyo, some weeks you're fine other weeks/months you feel like it's all too much and you can't do it anymore. Namaste my brothers and sisters.

Quick question on submission for 100 visa, on the Stat Dec template (https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/form...ec_sponsor.pdf) it asks in no. 4 "insert the year your spousal relationship commenced" so silly question but they are talking about the date we got married? not the date we started our relationship?

My husband applied over 26 months ago! And since then they Have asked him to do health checks and police checks not once but twice. Everything came up as fine, and we have been providing them with photos and updates witg our daily life... His from denmark ( low country risk ) so I'm not sure what is their deal with taking way too long. I've been living witg him for the last 2 year's and they know that.. yet they don't give us any answers to the extreme delay! However my visa is running out and I'll have to go back to Australia and it's extremely difficult considering we've been living together, day in - day out for the past 2 years. I've came across many post and stories over the internet and with friends etc however, no one that I've known have taken this long.. I'm so worried and would really like to hear of any of you put there have takebcthem this long ...

Thank you
Very Sad to know, it must quite hard to wait that long. Is there any complication in your case like previous relationship/Divorce or any court cases of applicant or of sponser or any other reason you can think of for delay.

i have been waiting for 14 months, it may be because i had been divorced earlier i think that may be the reason for my delay, I thought max it will be 24 months, this is the first time I see 26 months. OMG!
Yes, it's extremely difficult. I've however spend 99.9% of all of this time with him in Europe (where he currently lives) and provided and showed them that we are in a genuine relationship. I left my home and my family and everything for the past 2 years and travelled across the world just to be with him and after all of that.. They have taken this long .. it's beyond believe. Yes, we both were married before and got divorced but did not have any complication with the past relationships, they just didn't work, and this is my first time to sponsor and, never been to court for anything for neither of us or had any criminal record or anything. We do email them but they dont really response.. it's just unexplainable. He had done twice the health exams and police checks and spends hundreds and hundreds of dollars and any other little extras for stamps etc. And to top it off , just entering 27 months.. it's beyond any logic and fairness at this point.

How would I prove that I can sponsor him financially - or is that not a requirement?

We put the date we met, then the day he met my folks and we committed to a relationship. I was confused, I guess.
