We just did 2 people, both my parents.

We got it. I'm still in shock. We got the email a few days ago - visa approved, we are good to go. Took 7.5 months all up, which is really surprising but great; we were expecting at least another 6 months of waiting!!!

Woweee it IS lucky Friday 13th! Awesome news Charlie Brown
Were you asked to submit form 80 or just thought it may help move things along?

I'm confused about the 80 cause I've recently read posts on the forum (DC PMV/309 thread) from a few years back that say the process had changed so every applicant had to do one, but I don't remember reading that it was mandatory in the handbook and we've never been asked for it.... anyone know?

Thanks DchubbyAUwife: it's not a part of the original submission, we were asked to do it by our case officer. The info is really about travelling, work history and education. ( kind of an extension of a résumé of the applicant. I think we kind of figured it might have to do with applicants who apply on a dual citizenship passport (not their country of birth). Might be a good idea to look at it just in case..? Get a head start.? I hadn't heard of it till I got in this forum .😃

Jeremy said the other day that security checks are done on all applicants. He also said that they can usually for low risk countries get enough information from the other forms to do the search.
