Hi all,
Just about to finish the online application form. And I have a couple of questions.

1. My wife is overseas. She has filled in most of the things in the form. Can I complete the form and hit the submit from here in Australia ? Or does she need to lodge the application herself ?

2. If we find that there has been some errors in online Form 47SP (hope this does not happen), we can use form 1023. Is that right ?

3. In the identity document, we intend to put marriage certificate as well but as the registration number is too long (30 digits) and we can not put them in. What should we do ? We will of course upload it as an evidence but is it necessary at the application as well ?

Thanks in advance.

amazing you got the visa so quickly as I thought it took over 12 months nowadays . I notice you used an agent but I doubt that was reason why it happened so quickly . I always avoid middlemen but might consider it for this type of thing if fees were not
so big ! ( smile ) . Also, I have been through the process once in 2014 with ex wife
and will probably have a problem with another visa for new wife even though I was
not guilty party and Immigration only interested in one side of a story ! ( wr smile ) . anyway , well done

sorry but may I ask if it is still necessary to print out and put answers on forms such as
40SP manually and than scan it and upload to immi site ? Or is it possible to type answers online and hit submit button and it is uploaded ? thanking you

I am filling online. I am not sure about 40SP though. That one is for the sponsor I guess. So, I haven't reached that stage yet. I will do it once I lodge the application.

Thank you.

thanks but did you do the other forms in way I described please ? I am a bit rusty on what I did in 2014 ! At least you will be submitting application in before the new
sponsor assessment rules which will need police clearances in any country lived in - what a pain and they always look for ways to make citizens life more stressful ! ( smile ) .

I haven't as of now. Still completing the online version. If I come across the manual form or something like that, I will keep you posted.
Cheers.

So my husband and I actually filled out all the required forms online and then printed the forms out so that we could place our signatures manually and then scanned this back in. We just felt it was important to place our signatures manually on the forms.

We did the online 40SP and 47SP only, ie: the questions on the online IMMI account.

No need to fill in the old paper version any more.
