A few more questions.

1. Is the form 40 SP (offline version) necessary to fill for the sponsors ? I guess I already did that when doing my Sponsorship online application.

- no need 40 SP form...online only

2. For the Stat. Declaration to be filled in by people overseas. For eg: my father and my wife's father, can we use form 888 and get witnessed by a legal practitioner or is there any different form for overseas stat dec. I suppose form 888 is not necessarily relevant but I have heard people using it from overseas as well.

- i used form 888 & witnessed by legal practitioner

3. For the statement on relationship, financial, social, household aspects, can we (my wife as an applicant and me as a sponsor) both upload the same document or does it have to be a different version. The story, details and other information will be the same apart from some minor extra info. There will not be any inconsistency to any dates or figures etc in between two versions. So, what is the best way to give the statements ?

- i uploaded documents under my husband's (applicant) immi account...(from what I see any recommended documents are under applicant's) - as for financial, social etc.

- as for relationship statement (relationship history), we put our statements under a same file (dated & signed separately) - we were asked to provide this as an additional document

Any replies will be highly appreciated.
Thank you.
i hope i have answered your questions ...all based on my experience....

Did anyone do an interview for their visa? How long after did it take you to be approved.

Why so much? Have you lived in many states recently and need checks from each one? Hubby did his medical in Los Angeles and it was $385 and then the FBI check was $90 including prints and the state one $22.50 plus $20 for prints.

I think they mean 'where are you from? ' as in 'your nationality'.

I think they mean what 'country' are you from. It can make a difference in various immigration processes.
