Hey guys!
I applied Dec 2014 and still no word at all. I'm hoping this is a good thing.
We will be on our work contracts until July 2016 so here's to hoping everything will work out.
This waiting is killing me~!
I actually don't really know which embassy I would be applying out of. : / He is Australian and I am American but we are both living together in Japan and working as contract English teachers (where we met).
Any thoughts? ^^
(Sorry if that is a dumb question. I feel like I rarely know what I am doing with this application. ahhh! )

Thanks for getting back.
My partner is in the same situation (minor crime conviction - 13 years ago).
Please keep in touch.
Hopefully you will get an answer soon!

Anyone applied in Berlin?
I have realised there are some different requirements too.
For example Berlin requires form 80 and london doesn't (from what I have read they ask about it later on).

Congratulations, great news.
We will be applying 309 offshore very soon. My partner is from Poland, but he has been in Australia for a couple of years now.
Is that mean we could apply from New Zealand?

So far I was thinking we gonna apply in London or Berlin as thats the closest to Poland.

Dear applicants,

Exactly 8 months after lodging my application visa 309/100 in Nairobi Kenya, I was contacted by the AHC on 12th March and requested for the booking of medical examination. I will book today and will see the date they will set for the medical examination.

No glue about what will follow and my PCC will expire in May coming.

Anybody?

Hi all,

I applied 3rd December 2014 for my wife from the Philippines. Got an email on the 20th of March to do the medicals, and get a marriage certificate again to be sent directly to them. We have submitted over 110 files and all they requested was those 2 things so hoping all goes well.

Seems like USA has shorter waiting times than London at least which is now 10-14 months. Go with the shortest wait IMO. Good Luck.
