Our turn today! Yay! We applied from USA 30 July, 2018 and hubby's 309 granted TODAY.

Was straight forward. They only asked for medical a few months after applying, we front loaded our FBI checks when we applied. Then a few months ago WE opted to load up state checks and then they recently asked for a new FBI check for hubby as they expire after one year. I felt like then it wouldn't be long. I was right. I am a citizen, born and raised in Australia and living in the USA since 2000. I do not like it here and have been stuck here (long story) and am desperately waiting to get home and YAY!!!!!! I AM COMING HOME!!!!!!!!!!! With my American hubby and gorgeous baby girl!

Hi. Anyone on here apply from the UK in June? I’m an Australian citizen (although I grew up in the UK) and submitted an application for my partner and our baby on 11 June. I know it’s early days but we frontloaded the app and have been together 12 years so I’m hoping it’s seen as a straightforward application. The waiting is terrible! We are desperate to quit our jobs and book flights! Just wondering what the shortest processing time has been for UK applicants. We’d love to be out there for Christmas on the beach 😃

Hi everyone,
Been waiting now for 14 months for my Vietnamese wife to be able to join me here.

Timeline: Applied for 300 visa on June 29 2018.
Got married in Vietnam February 20, 2019.
Agent changed visa to 309 shortly after.
All medicals, police checks, certificates etc provided.

Still waiting. I guess the change from the 300 to 309 delayed things, but it's just getting really frustrating and stressful now :-(

May, June and July 309 grants:
309 Finalised after 2.7 months, from UK
309 Finalised after 4.6 months, from UK
309 Finalised after 4.6 months, from UK
309 Finalised after 4.2 months, from UK
309 Finalised after 4.1 months, from UK
309 Finalised after 6.6 months, from UK
309 Finalised after 5 months, from UK
309 Finalised after 8.8 months, from UK
309 Finalised after 4 months, from UK
309 Finalised after 16.2 months, from UK

Being together 12 years should help.

These 4 had long relationships too, and all done in 4-5 months, with grants in May and June.

Cuddles 200 from UK had the 309 and 100 granted at the same time, due to long relationship, in 4.6 months.
DMB81 from UK had the 309 and 100 granted at the same time, due to long relationship, in 4.2 months.
Woodydj82 from UK had the 309 and 100 granted at the same time, due to long relationship, in 4.1 months.
Mustelalutreo from UK had the 309 and 100 granted at the same time, due to long relationship, in 4 months.

Hope you are in the same timeline..

Heya,

This really helped my fiance for his interview. (See link) They ask very randome questions and its worth going through all these questions. My fiance knew them all anyway but they even asked him how long it takes me to get to work.
