Immigration suspecting a bogus document provided and asked for clarification .The dicument is Genuine for sure and they find the regisrty office also found that file.
Question - what should be our approach? How do i comvience them they can call the office back to verify the dcument is Genuine or not. Misery of life continue .

I can think of few options.

1. You and your partner can make statutory declarations to the affect that the certificate is genuine and forward to the AHC, explaining the situation.
2. Engage a 3rd party (e.g. a reputable law firm in Colombo) to independently verify the genuineness of the certificate and forward an affidavit to that affect to the AHC.
3. Try to get a letter from the central registry office in Colombo verifying the genuineness of the certificate and forward to the AHC with an explanation.

I think you really need professional advise.

Replying to your PM failed, hence this post.

This is a significant issue. As I indicated in my previous post, it is very hard for anyone to trust that small registry office since they have made such a big mistake.

As you have requested, the published contact details for the Colombo AHC is: +94-11-268 2311 (visas, migration and citizenship), [email protected]

Please post your comments and questions rather than PMs.
Thanks, SLB

This depends. Some people get the grant very quickly after the interviews. Some may wait for a long time. This depends on the complexity of the case and your processing AHC. What is your AHC?

How long after paying for the visa should the documents be uploaded?

Since paying for the visa, we've been finalising, gathering and uploading the documents for about a week now.
Is this okay?

You can submit the application with minimum amount of documents. After that you can keep uploading more supporting documents/photos etc with some limit of maximum number of documents. If any more documents needed, CO will contact later which could take months.

Yep not an issue.. we uploaded up until 6 months after the original application. I presume CO will ask for anything further as needed.

Thank you.
In the "Attach documents" section, there's a button at the bottom saying "I confirm I have provided information as requested".
Is uploading more documents possible after clicking this button?

Yes but we didn't know this at the time so we only hit the confirm button after we had submitted everything. We can now still attach documents but the confirm button is greyed out.
The only documents we plan to attach further are social and travel related.. unless of course if they ask for something else.

Brilliant!
Thanks!
The stuff in the online ImmiAccount is pretty intuitive otherwise.
