So very excited for you!!! ....however I think I now must stop reading this forum or else I'll get depressed at the vast differences between waiting/grant times for all the hopeful applicants here. LOL In seriousness, wonderful news, and best for your future together in Oz.

Congrats that's amazingly fast. I'm curious about how you filed from Auckland. Is your partner in NZ? you mentioned your partner was from the U.S. Filing from Washington takes a lot longer. We filed in Oct last year and only now just have first contact. But again well done

Thank you very much! We lived together in auckland for 14 months before lodging our application so that was her place of usual residence at the time we applied!

Wow this is so fast. Congratulations!
Can I ask did you apply online or did you post all documents to Auckland?
Thank you

If your partner moves there to live I think they can. It has to be your place of usual residence but I'm not sure if there is a certain time you have to have been living there before it would be sent to Auckland over their home country

It's stressful but so worth it! Just think about being able to spend the rest of your lives together, 14 months doesn't seem so long! Good luck and remember we are all here to help and support you!
