I haven't seen the grant letter yet. But on immi it reads finalized and under my name it reads granted. The details are on vevo and the good news is that I have still October 2020 to check in!!

Hang in there and you'll get to the end soon.
How did you go about getting the PNG police clearance?
We used a company that does the lodging and follow up with the PNG police. It took a long while to get done though.
Ah ok. Was it Pacific Development Company? We attempted to get one through them but they still couldn’t get it so I’m hoping Immigration will waiver the clearance for us.

My wife has applied for a 309 in May 2019. I think ours is a stright forward application without any complications. But I'm not expecting until Jan/Feb 2020
We have applied for a through an agent from Sri Lanka.

I know we have jumped the gun, but I already have purchased a ticket to come to Melbourne in March 2020. visa doesn't come in time, I would like her to come to Melbourne with a visitor visa.
Question 1:Will a visitor visa have any affect on the 309 application? (I know she will need to return to Sri Lanka to have the visa granted)

Also, make it unnecessarily complex, soon after she comes to Melbourne, we are planning to make a holiday to an overseas country.
Quetion 2: So she will need multiple entry visior visa. 600 and 651 seems very similar. Which one gives Multiple entry?
Question 3: She will need to be sponsored by me. Seems like 600 mentions family sponsorship. Correct?

Thanks in advance

Yes!! How long has it been though? We got it after the expiration of time given for the RFI. They just asked that we keep them posted, and eventually it came through

The company said my husband’s fingerprints were sufficient so they could not proceed with the clearance. Unfortunately the fingerprints my husband got are the only ones he can get in his country so we can’t do anything else.

I suppose this depends on the size of that activity in comparison to other work activities that you have. If you are a full time trader with large income from trading, then that is your main source of income and become very important. If that is very small, you can ignore that.

Based on what I have seen in partner visa, in general, mail applicants takes longer than female applicants.
