As others informed, I think its just simply auto generated email that people receive. It was for few documents that I have already provided except online 40sp (I attached under my name before)
Did you apply Visitor Visa(Family Sponsored)? I have seen lately so many rejections for normal visitor visa! I have applied family sponsored Visitor visa 2 times and got 3 months visa both times. On the other hand take it positive, they might have rejected as its under processing and they might be looking into to go for main visa <img src="http://www.australiaforum.com/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />
One of the forum on this site linked with Partner Visa Processing at New Delhi even advised that as soon as processing starts if applicant is onshore, its time to fly straight away back to country as otherwise they will put your file away to wait to for you to come back first!!

My sponsored tourist visa was rejected citing reasons that were unconvincing. Taking it positively as you mentioned.
I applied for another police clearance, since mine got expired and from reading the previous posts on this forum, the next document that they might usually ask for is a pcc and Medical clearance in case if they have expired. Does the grant come from New Delhi AHC ?

Thank you.

I’m talking about the PR visa. New Delhi Office has opened after a long weekend. Hoping for a grant mail soon &#x1f642;

hi guys, am not quite clear with the process of how the visa grant happens,

is the grant given from the department of home affairs which is based in Australia or is it that when our documents are uploaded, depending on the country of the visa applicants originality the assessment is done by the applicants Australian embassy ?

does the local embassy have any role in this process ?

would be happy if someone could clarify this for me plz.

 309 and 100 granted!!

Applied April 15th 2019

Entered Australia on a 12 months visitor visa on September 30th

Asked to leave Australia on October 15th (exactly 6 months after I lodged application)

Left last Sunday night, and yesterday I got two golden emails!! &#x1f60d;

Been together since 2016.
No agent.
No kids.
Not married.
Processed in Berlin.
Swedish applicant.

My only advice is to frontload, don’t make them ask you for further information. Do your medical and police checks, it’s worth the risk of them expiring. Most people that get a RFI have to wait another few months after being contacted.

Good luck to everyone waiting!

Hello,

I assume the local embassy has a role in the correspondence. Not sure about the decision making.
