As each visa is different, Visitor (temp) partner (perm) they can often be done by completely different people and offices.

Hi there!

Just joined the forum and wondered if anyone from the UK has recently had their 309 granted? My partner and I applied in Jan this year but are yet to hear anything. Is anyone on a similar time scale?
He is Aussie and I came to Melbourne on a tourist visa about 3 weeks ago after us both being in the UK for 2 years. Currently on a 3 month Evisitor visa that I activated in March to come over for a wedding but I'm wondering if this has had some impact on the wait time or if it's probably going to be a 16 month wait!
Any help would be great 🙂

Hi,
Thanks for your reply
Wow... Were you married to an Australian previously?

Hello!

I applied for Partner Visa on 14th January 2019. Received RFI on 9th October and no contact since. I visited Australia for a 3 month period on visitor visa and it did not have any impact on my PR visa. In case, if the department wants to make a decision on your grant, they will contact you and give you sometime to exit the country.

Hope this helps

nope, was married to British but I think Australia and UK share their immigration history not 100% though.

Dear Member,
ALHAMDULILLAH
I am Happy to announce that my wife got 309 granted today. We applied on 14 Jan 2019 from Pakistan. Got RFI on 04-OCT-2019 asking for sponsor's PCC. We kept on uploading pictures regularly.
I wish every one Speedy grant.
