It's so hard to know.
I worried about that too and decided to only update major things after our RFI a few months ago. I provided what I thought was a lot when first submitting and they didn't ask for any "evidence" with the RFI so I have kept it minimal. Since the RFI, I upload every 3 months our call log and chat transcripts (one per month), I uploaded our flight itinerary with a one-page summary of our travel plans over the holidays. I'll do a brief update after the holidays showing our bank statements and shared expenses. We also changed how we bank and I asked a FaceBook forum if that warranted letting Home Affairs know and the consensus was no. I decided to just note it on an after-visit summary with the bank statements. It seems from my research that unless they ask for more evidence in an RFI, most people just do brief updates to show you are still in a continuing relationship.

Hello Everyone,
We are waiting for offshore partner visa too
D.O.L - January 2019
I am an Australian Citizen and wife is Indian, got married in October 2018
s56 Request for more Information:- October 2019 :- I was asked for few documents that I have already provided. only thing I didn't do like others was to apply online 40sp so did that as requested.

I have one important question:- I didn't add anything under Financial aspect of relationship but have provided bills and joint lease, account information under other column, I have replied to email (s56) same that I have provided all the documents needed for these under other columns in same file and have explained exact location.

Another query:- I have reached 100 documents limit for my wife so now adding every new info under my id (Partner and sponsor) hoping its ok and they will check my profile for any missing documents that they can't find here and there. I think I attached way too many things like for marriage proof, I added wedding card, venue charges, photos etc

I wouldn't leave it blank...we applied for a PMV and didn't have a lot of evidence compared to married couples regarding finances because we didn't live together due to the logistics of our relationship. However, spoke at length about shared goals, future plans, how we shared the expenses of our life together by taking turns paying for activities/meals on our travels and time together.

Visa processing times have been updated, unfavourably:

100: 75% in 19 months, 90% in 28 months
309: 75% in 17 months, 90% in 21 months

Back to 17-21 for 309, was the same about a month or two ago.

Hey guys, we lodged my wife's 309 application in March 2019 - only stumbled upon the 40SP online application for sponsor last week so I submitted that and now waiting Police Clearance documents so I can front-load them... Hope it goes smooth after that...

I really hope that means you are almost done! We needed to add to our police checks (Chinese check was complex, as was another) we updated everything in April 2019. Still waiting. Don't be discouraged, but do be realistic. And hopefully, you'll also be lucky.
