Little update from our side
Received request s56 again on 03/12 asking for Other-Wedding pictures
Case officer asked for 10 wedding pictures with summary( Name of Ceremony, Place, Date and person depicted)
I was asked to write all this on back of picture and scan both side then attach

I dragged each picture to MS word then typed description underneath of each page so attached 10 pages of all that. Saved the file as pdf then attached. Clicked on link that I have provided information as requested

Informed case officer via same email that I have attached wedding pictures file and explained that I have done things this way.

Hoping for Grant soon, Wish us Luck 😊
You said s56 "again". What was the first s56 about ?
First one was Generic one where they asked for few things that we already attached and online 40sp

No problem with the sponsor being divorced, as long as you have supplied the court documents to prove this.
. Thank you

Hello All,

My partner and I are considering moving to NZ for around 1 year. Currently waiting for the 309 which has been processing now for 9 months.

I'm an Australian Citizen which means I don't need to apply for a visa to live and work in New Zealand.
My Wife - Needs to apply for a visa.

Will this affect the 309? Will I have to inform DHA about travelling to NZ?

I don't think that will have any negative affects. It could certainly have a positive affect since both of you are living together as a married couple.

hi to all..

just to get this out of my chest...

my husband received the 'application in progress' at exactly 18months of waiting time (6.12.19), approximately two months after we uploaded the police check (1.10.19) which they have requested on the 25.9.19...this is the second time he received this 'application in progress'...the first one was on the 6.6.19 - exactly a year of waiting time...

does this mean that no more documents will be requested or it is just a normal thing for everyone? to my understanding, police check is the last thing they will ask from us before approval right?

thanks...

If not yet done, expect at least a medical and biometrics request.

Gotcha. I waited 7 months more after that (with no further requests). Hope you go faster.
