11 months total. Went straight to 100 visa, however we have been married for 10 years.

We got our 309 and 100 last week after waiting very close to 19 months, no phone call no interview, 2 x RFI's about 10 weeks apart, granted 3 weeks after the last RFI (new Police and CENOMAR), Philippines, married 6 years.i arrive in Sydney next week..very excited, no agent DIY.

Congratulations! This is tremendously exciting.

You mention that you received an RFI for a new Police Certificate. Does this mean your old one expired? If so, did they request one earlier in the process (and it expired before they could process your application), or did you initially provide it without it being requested?

I ask because I received an RFI in August of this year for a Police Check, and I am hoping this is an indication they intend to process my application before August of 2020.

We were aware that Police clearances are only valid for 1 year so we both got new clearances as the old ones expired, uploaded them without being prompted, and yet in the second and last RFI they asked for what they already had, a valid police clearance, so we changed the file name and uploaded it again.

That makes sense. To clarify, the Police Clearances that expired, had they been specifically requested earlier on in the process (i.e., an RFI over 12 months ago)? Or did you get them of your own accord to front load the application?

Congrats on the grant.
I am puzzled by the need for a CENOMAR, as you are married.

For medicals , you cant do them anywhere, but on the immi website, they should provide a panel clinic where he can do them in nigeria. If not there is one provided in ghana, which is much closer to nigeria. How long has it been since u did the medicals and police check?
