I actually sent an email on visa grant day as enquiry asking if they were able to see my attached pictures as requested, as I havenít received any confirmation at all.
Next thing was after few hours the Visa grant
Interesting. Your email might have triggered the grant on that day.

Quite often a genuine enquiry about something, will get them to look at the application, and if it is at a reasonable time to approve, and everything has been completed, they will finalise it rather than put it back and do it again later.

Our visa was similar, being granted very soon after we asked about a specific thing that needed clarification in our minds.

You mentioned that the processing times was 12-14 (75% in under 12 months and 10% in over 14 months when you applied).

Things have become slower for some people, with October 2019 being 17-21 (75% in under 17 months and 10% in over 21 months). But even at those numbers, many still get finalised at about 10 to 13 months (included in the 75% under 17 months group). A few 309's have taken around 6 months recently.

Yes, I think so too! I think they mus have looked into this and must've figured out that he provided what we wanted so why to wait more.
I am glad I sent that email.
Strangely, My first RFI, 2nd RFI and Visa Grant they were all from different people in Home affairs!

Yes, Still happy that its finalized under 11 months as some people are still waiting from 2018.
Some people got it quickly, I remember someone telling us in the forum about visa at least a month ago and they applied around same time as me. I front loaded everything except 40sp Online (I actually found that its necessary from this forum)

At the end, I think it depends where your file is being processed. some countries are faster that other. recently I found out that Canada is a lot quicker!

I think that might be quite common. All our contacts were different too.

I do not think that applications are dedicated to any one person in immigration.

Hi all - quick question regarding the 'Online 40SP.' I just want to make sure I completed the right one. Is the Online 40SP referring to making a new application as a Sponsor in ImmiAccount, with this category: 'Sponsorship for a Partner to Migrate to Australia (300,309/100,820/801)'. If not, what is the Online 40SP? I want to make sure I didn't miss out something vital!
