And thanks guys for the help on the whatsapp message logs.

I did get emails regarding Biometrics and Health Checks instantly when I lodged the visa. I am in the process or organising those for my partner.

Once that is complete, it should make the full documentation complete.

There is a checkbox "I confirm I have provided information as requested" which I believe should be clicked when I have provided all documents. That probably marks the application as complete and then gets in the queue to be allocated to the case office.

I am not sure if I can still upload any more documents after I click the checkbox "I confirm I have provided information as requested". Say I visited my partner overseas and I want to upload tickets / recent photographs of being together, not sure if I can still upload them through immi account.

Hope the wait wont be that long.

Recent trends show 7-8 months for someone who has completed full documentation.

Changing to 309 from 300

Hi everyone,

We have applied for visa Prospective-marriage-300 visa on 15 April 2019, we got married overseas while waiting for case officer to be nominated, now we officially have all the marriage documents dated 25 December 2019.

Is it possible to change from 300 to 309? Do we need to withdraw from 300 and apply for 309? Or just uploading our marriage certificate on our immi account is enough? I read on some websites once you upload documents it will automatically be treated as 309?

I appreciate your advice on this in advance.

Thanks

Sorry I dont have the exact names but according to my research on the forum and according to previous posts from people who have received grants (not necessarily on this thread), their timeline shows 7-8 months if it is a direct grant. Ofcourse, if the CO asks for more info, that extends.

I could also probably be quoting the best case scenario and this could be incorrect.

What are your thoughts if you wouldn't mind sharing?

Oh Okay.

Well timelines show 8 months if you have front-loaded everything. I believe yours shouldn't be too far.

Hope 2020 will be the lucky year for you.
